Congratulations to James McCrae, who made light of blustery conditions to romp to victory in Sunday’s 10k. James, of Sheffield’s Hallamshire Harriers, crossed the line in 31:17, just 19 seconds behind the course record.

​

He finished 103 seconds ahead of 2022 and 2024 race winner Ben Heron as the Helpston Harriers AC runner finished in 33:00. Kai Chilvers, of Peterborough & Nene Valley AC, was 3rd in 34:04.

​

Philippa Taylor, of Helpston Harriers, led the female field home in 40:44, with Yaxley Runners & Joggers’ Abigail Branston (40:53) and Hunts AC’s Lola Fletcher (42:23) completing the top three.

​

Congratulations to everyone who completed our two races, which included a keenly contested 3k race.
